Kalakeli was a 3 month residency I was a part of in Arambol, Goa, where I worked and collaborated with the following artists: Navala Chaudhari, Vittoria De Ferrari, Kevin Turner, Marco Riviera and Alvaro Esteban, and participants from over 20 countries.
The residency focused on contemporary movement and creation, along with yoga (Iyengar, Hatha, Ashtanga), Kathak, Kalaripayattu, Capoeira and breakdancing.
Through my time in Goa, I created and performed a first iteration of my own solo work, along with performing in works by the other artists. This video is a snippet from a piece by Mario Riviere, performed in April 2024.
